Happy Three Month Birthday, Little Graham!!!

Our little g has been so busy this month... changing and GROWING! We are still having a blast being parents but this month was more difficult than past months because he is finding his vocal cords... some other interesting notes this month were....

  1. He is no longer an 'infant', or so we read.... ::Heartbreaking::
  2. His all-time favorite song is "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and the close runner up is "On Top Of Spaghetti". He laughs, smiles, gigles, coos and they calm him down when he's protesting something.
  3. Graham smiles and even cries in his sleep... the smiling/laughing thing he has been doing since he was born and the crying thing just recently started.
  4. We've been having a problem with his bowel movements... he has gone 5 days without going #2 but we called our pedi and learned that we could give him 1/2 ounce of water and a 1/2 ounce of prune juice... we tried it this morning and it worked like a charm! We have to continue this until he's 'regular'. His face was hilarious as the whole family tried to offer it to him!
  5. Our second round of immunizations was on Thursday. He didn't like these as much mainly because there were two shots... one in each thigh. At this appointment we learned our healthy boy is now 16 pounds... WAY TO GO!!!
  6. We were quite surprised this month when we went in to little g's room and realized that he scooted completely out of his triangles and in to the bottom of his crib... he was super happy about it and we were a little freaked out.
  7. He has also turned in to a Houdini and can fanagle his way out of his swaddle blanket (a.k.a. straight jacket). When we go in to his room in the morning we not only find him in the bottom of the crib but also with his arms flailing around like a helicopter!
  8. We love to play with our little one... he is just starting to grab at distant items such as a rattle if we hold it in front of him. I read that this was going to happen and I was a little disgruntled when I never saw him doing it. When I visited my mom I told her of my concerns and he held something in front of him. Sure enough he started moving him uncoordinated arms toward the bottle of lotion. I was amazed... I figured they meant he would be able to look and grab at anything but they meant that he would start making progress towards doing just that.
  9. Some nicknames we have for our little one are: snack-pack, tootie-mc-fruity, buddy and cranky-pants!!!

For more changes... just check out this picture...

This photo was taken by our super talented and creative friend, Natali. We are taking this picture every three months (1, 3, 6, 9, 12) and then I will get these pictures custom framed together to see his growth... I can't wait to see the finished product. Isn't it amazing?!
